EAA pancake breakfast

The local EAA chapter hosts a pancake breakfast at the airport through the summer months. Visitors are welcome — come and see the aircraft, meet local pilots, and have breakfast on the field. See Events for dates.

Being a good neighbor

The airport is close to homes in Gallatin. We ask all pilots to fly neighborly: avoid unnecessary low flight over residential areas, keep pattern work and run-ups to reasonable hours, and use the published traffic pattern. If you have a concern about aircraft noise, please contact the airport. Noise concerns are reported to the Authority.

Economic impact

The airport is a link to the national air transportation system for Sumner County, supporting business travel, flight training, aircraft maintenance, air ambulance and law enforcement flights. Traffic is overwhelmingly general aviation — see Airport Information for current operations data.
