Community
Music City Executive Airport is part of the Sumner County community — a public facility, governed in the open, that supports local business, training and emergency services.
EAA pancake breakfast
The local EAA chapter hosts a pancake breakfast at the airport through the summer months. Visitors are welcome — come and see the aircraft, meet local pilots, and have breakfast on the field. See Events for dates.
Being a good neighbor
The airport is close to homes in Gallatin. We ask all pilots to fly neighborly: avoid unnecessary low flight over residential areas, keep pattern work and run-ups to reasonable hours, and use the published traffic pattern. If you have a concern about aircraft noise, please contact the airport. Noise concerns are reported to the Authority.
Economic impact
The airport is a link to the national air transportation system for Sumner County, supporting business travel, flight training, aircraft maintenance, air ambulance and law enforcement flights. Traffic is overwhelmingly general aviation — see Airport Information for current operations data.
Public participation
The Authority meets in open, publicly noticed meetings. Agendas, minutes and packets are published on the Board & Committee Meetings page.
