2026 Music City STOL

A STOL competitor in patriotic livery lands short at Music City STOL

National STOL returns to Middle Tennessee — at Lebanon Municipal Airport (M54) — for 2026.

As previous hosts, we’re sad to see the event move on account of our exciting new terminal building project here at Music City Executive. Congratulations to our friends at Lebanon Airport — we’re here to support both organizations toward a fabulous 2026 Music City STOL.

What is STOL?

Shortest takeoff and landing wins. Pilots compete to take off and land in the shortest combined distance — judged head-to-head and scored in feet. Part airshow, part motorsports, and 100% American aviation, it’s part of National STOL, the country’s premier short-takeoff competition series.

The weekend

  • Friday, Oct 9 — Practice rounds. Watch the teams dial in their approaches, meet pilots and crews on the field, food trucks and local vendors.
  • Saturday, Oct 10 — Main competition. The head-to-head STOL showdown, scored in feet, plus food trucks and family activities.
